We are fortunate enough to have a matched set of these great counters. They've always been together, but you may purchase one or both.

A most unique piece of furniture for a kitchen, dining area, office, foyer, any place that you would like to have a special and beautiful piece.

The mahogany counter is oblong in shape. It is a two-sided piece because of its original use in a pharmacy. The front has two lovely raised panels with carved floral and foliate detail gathered by a garland and bow. On each curved end are two raised panel sections. On the back side of the counter are eight drawers (four on either side) and an open middle section with shelves. (Note: the drawers are in excellent condition with the exception of one which has a small section of split wood in the bottom. The shelves can be removed and the middle section left open. Also, the third shelf has some damage in the middle.)
Surrounding the base of the counter is a 4 3/4” brass band which appears to be original. The patination of the wood and finish are fabulous. The top shows some minimal scratching and scarring, obviously from use, that only adds to the charm and uniqueness of the piece.
This pharmacy counter is from a pharmacy in Buenos Aires, Argentina. All parts in good condition and appear to be original.

What an amazing addition this would be to your home! Perfect as a “middle of the room” piece or behind a couch. It also would work equally well by a wall in a foyer or any room as a display piece.
